The middle of July we went to the Ute Stanpede in Nephi with my family. It is one of the better rodeos in Utah and I haven't been in quite a few years.

They had an awesome flag entrance and a very nice patriotic presentation at the beginning. It was very inspiring to see our flag flying across the sky.

They had some military personnel there also as part of the program and it was neat to be able to pay our respects to those who are serving our country.

In between some of the events they had a couple different shows. This one was so cool, the horse was trained so well, and would let the guy do whatever he wanted to him, and I mean whatever! It was very funny.

The rodeo was great and there was some pretty crazy riding and roping. One of my favorite parts in the bulls though. I don't know how those cowboys can do it.
They also had some hide races. It is usually kids that do it, but there was this lady that decided to do it. She wasn't big or anything, but her horse couldn't even pull her on the hide! It was very funny.

The bunny hop picture of you two is my favorite! I also like the sepia picture you took of the lake - that is really beautiful.
Just wanted to say 'Hi' as I read your cute blog.
luv, Brenda
