Friday morning we drove to Horseshoe Lake to swim, canoe, and jump off the dock. The water was perfect temperature and had no leaches! It is so beautiful up there.

Cory was the only one who dared do any fancy drives and tricks off the top of the dock. It took about 3 tries to get a good picture of him. We scored him a 7...his legs aren't together, and his foot is bent!!
Later that afternoon we took a drive up in the mountains and definitely broke in our new truck. We found this path that it looked had been driven once or twice before. There was some beautiful views at the top.
Friday night we went to the reunion for a little while to visit and eat cobbler, yummy!. It had been really humid all afternoon, and threatened to rain. It poured for about 10 minutes is all though. We were all hoping it would have poured all night long. The farmers sure could have used it up there. The sky looked really cool though. Too bad my camera doesn't take very good of pictures when it's dark.
Saturday morning we went shooting before the reunion started. Cory was quite a good aim. I'm pretty sure I didn't hit anything, but had fun anyway. We also stopped at some old houses and took some of the old barn wood and old/rusted hinges for me to use in making crafts and house decorations. I'm very excited about it!
After a potluck lunch at the reunion they had some games, both adult and kids. Gichin and his cousin Jordan participated in the hay relay. The team they raced against was girls, so sad to say it wasn't too much competition!
Cory and Gichin both participated in the pie eating contest. The guy who won, was stuffing pie into his mouth by the handfuls, and it looked rather disgusting!
Cory and Tyler were on the same team and did really well. Their strategy was coming back after the other team had 6-7 points, and it worked really well until the semi and final game. They took 2nd place though, and it was surprisingly intense and fun to watch! The last few games were so close!
After the reunion we went to Gichin's cousins house to ride some 4-wheelers, have dinner, and play games.

Looks like you guys had a fun trip. We'll definitely have to join you one of these days.
Fun stuff. I can't believe you didn't enter into any contests... pie, horse shoes. I'm very disappointed. :-) I've decided I'm coming with you next time. Who knew Idaho could be so much fun! The new features on your camera look pretty fun.
