The Land of Zions!

Just wanted to post a few pictures from our quick trip to Zions this past weekend. Even though it was short and a bit exhausting, we had a blast and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. We did two hikes. First was the Emerald Pools. All three were so beautiful.

This is the upper pool, which was the biggest with the most water.

The lower pool had a waterfall, which is one of my favorite things in nature.

Kait was such a trooper in her hiking pack. She loved being carried around, and loved to look at everything around her.
We arrived late Friday night and camped at a free campground outside the park a little ways. We were very disappointed to have missed the fire safe period by just 4 days.
Kait was such a good helper setting up the tent! All she really wanted to do was climb and play in the dirt!

Our second hike we did was the Narrows. It was nice to walk in the
cool water in 100 degree weather.

It was so beautiful. I love the mountains!
We hiked about 1 1/2 miles in and then played in the water for a little bit. Gichin climbed some caves that were on the opposite side of the river.

Just another cute picture of Kait!

And another! You would think she was mine!
We were all pretty exhausted by the end of the day. But it was a wonderful mini vacation!

Hey Ab,
Your pictures are very nice. I too love waterfalls, they are so pretty. We still need to hike Stewart Falls sometime. Looks like you guys had fun. We should do it when I get back.
