Gichin and Tyler wanted to climb up to the very top of the crater, but I didn't think the little girls could handle the hike so we stayed and just played games while we waited for them. We played baseball with rocks and sticks, then we built a fire and roasted hot dogs ( complete with ketchup and mustard courtesy of wildflowers!), marshmallows, and rabbits. If you look closely you can see our boy scout tepee fire, and our green rabbits and hot dogs on the rock next to Dani! We sure had fun!!
One of the views from the top.
Sunday afternoon we went out to Topaz, a Japanese Internment camp from the war, that's just west of Delta. Here is what's left of a baseball field.
Monday we went to the Edward Partridge Pancake breakfast, and then to the cementary to put flowers on the graves and for the program. Then we headed to Grandma and Grandpa Finn's for a picnic. When wer first arrived, soemone noticed a big snack coiled up in the ditch. Grandpa Burnham pikced it up, and then proceeded to taunt the women with it, including Grandma! It was very funny.
While we were all down for the weekend, we celebrated Shauna's birthday which was on the 15th, Gichin's birthday which was on the 30th, and Marcus' graduation.
We had a family party with those in Provo/Orem on Gichin's actual birthday.

Memorial Weekend was so much fun! It was quite hilarious when grandpa tossed that snake at grandma. My birthday is actually on the 15th, but that's okay..I know you knew that!
